Old School Business
Enterprise Hardware Integrator
As co-founder and CEO of Teleport Technologies, I built a hardware integrator that supplied IT equipment to major corporates through B2B tenders. My co-founder focused on sales via his executive relationships, while I oversaw contract fulfillment – including delivery execution, logistics, supplier and bank coordination, and complex financial settlements.
Year :
2020 - 2022
Niche :
B2B Hardware Tendering
Company :
Teleport Technologies - My 3rd Exit
Duration :
2 years

Problem :
The tender-driven model created unpredictable cycles – with periods of intense activity followed by complete standstills. This inconsistency made staffing, planning, and cash flow management especially challenging.

Solution :
I designed systems that automated procurement, streamlined delivery workflows, and managed payments with suppliers and creditors. This gave us operational stability during peak contract fulfillment periods and reduced overhead during slow seasons.

Challenge :
The instability of the business model – alternating between oversupply of work and complete droughts – eventually made long-term planning difficult. After building a system that ensured the company could run smoothly without me, I sold my equity to my partner and returned back to my favorite niche – FreightTech ventures.
Summary :
– Co-founded and led a hardware integration business through high-stakes tender cycles
– Oversaw logistics, fulfillment, vendor coordination, and complex financial settlements
– Built internal systems that stabilized operations in a volatile workload environment
– Exited in 2022 by selling my stake to my partner to focus full-time on building technology for freight and logistics
