FreightTech Consulting
Enterprise Software Integrator
As co-founder of AP Advisor, I partnered with a commercial leader to sell logistics software to large enterprises and corporate clients. While my co-founder leveraged his executive relationships to close deals, I was responsible for vetting vendors, selecting the right tools, and overseeing full-cycle implementations – from pilot to scale.
Year :
2015 - 2016
Niche :
B2B Software
Company :
AP Advisor
Duration :
4 months

Problem :
Enterprise logistics operations in the region lacked modern digital infrastructure. Yet deploying freight tech solutions into these environments was notoriously difficult – plagued by outdated systems, long procurement processes, and fragmented internal stakeholders.

Solution :
We offered consulting-led integration of best-fit enterprise tools – such as transportation tendering platforms and warehouse management systems – guiding clients from decision to deployment. My role ensured each implementation was feasible, future-proof, and aligned with operational needs.

Challenge :
Enterprise sales came with a heavy cost: extremely long deal cycles. Many projects took months or even years to close and implement, often requiring deep patience and internal navigation. The pace and politics of enterprise delivery left little room for fast iteration or experimentation.
Summary :
– Co-founded a boutique consulting firm selling logistics software to enterprise clients
– Led solution design and implementation across multi-month transformation projects
– Saw firsthand how slow-moving enterprise environments block innovation
This experience ultimately led me to shift focus – from institutional delivery to building easy-to-use tools for logistics.
